Sorry that, due to a rather meager response to the invitation and to Covid complications, Paul and Curt have to cancel January’s proposed luncheon. The Fairview Metropolitan needs a ten day notice from us so that they can make the necessary preparations.

We Wallybirds are a dwindling number and that has been complicated the past two years by the pandemic and by some members moving farther from the Bay Area.

The number of pilots still identifying themselves as Wallybirds is creeping from age 60 toward, in Paul’s case, closer to 90! Some of us will keep “the only way to fly” in our hearts to the end but it is becoming more difficult to bring us all together.

Curt and Paul will try this again for Thursday, April 21st.

Meanwhile, we are looking for others who are younger and so motivated to take over the reins.
