Wallybird Luncheon

Our speaker for Thursday, 19 July is Tom Gehman who will talk about his experiences in the A4 Skyhawk.

Ken Koster has told me that Dr. Rich Sugden, CDR, USN, Retired said he knows of Tom and would like to hear what he has to say

but, that he can’t attend.   He expressed a desire to have someone video Tom’s presentation and send it to him.

I suppose anyone could do that with their smart phone and the share it through an attachment to an email.

Any volunteers?

If so email me at pjbro5790@att.net

BTW, Dr. Sugden owns The Teton Air Museum.

Check out the rich array of beautiful ($$$$) aircraft at :

Thanks,

Shannon passed unexpectedly early Thursday morning due to a medical condition. He is survived by his parents, his brother, his 3yr old daughter, plus many other dear friends and family members. Shannon was an organ donor….many lives have benefitted from Shannon’s organ, eye, tissue donations. An avid dog lover, his favorite charity is the ASPCA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to ASPCA in Shannon’s name. Brigitte has set up a fundraiser account to benefit ASPCA … please see below. It’s with great sadness that we inform all friends and family of Shannon G. Thompson of his untimely passing. We will miss his warm smile, his big heart and his loving hugs terribly.

Given his great love of dogs, we have set up this fundraiser for those who would like to contribute something in his memory to help support the ASPCA.

He will be missed by us as well as everyone that knew him. He brought a lot of joy into our lives, and we appreciate any contributions in celebration of his life.

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I’m raising money for ASPCA and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I’ve included information about ASPCA below.

From rescue to recovery to adoption, the ASPCA is there for animals every step of the way. We pride ourselves in not just saving lives, but in changing them for the better—and none of it would be possible without the support of people like you. When you donate to the ASPCA today, you can help us continue to fight for animals on all fronts. Please make a gift right now. www.aspca.org

Funeral for Paul Prosch

> From: Hal Gulledge <ashby@gvtc.com>Could you forward this, Scotty? Barbara is Jan’s sister.

All,

Jan has received notice from Ft. Sam Houston regarding Tom’s graveside service. It will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 10:00 am. The authorities at Ft. Sam Houston have informed the family that promptness is important as several funerals are planned for that day, so please don’t arrive too early. The services are limited to 30 minutes per regulations. Instructions are to enter the main gate off Harry Wurzbach then stop at first building on the right after the gate to find out which shelter has been designated as the site for the service.

This won’t come as any surprise to you to learn that Tom wanted this to be casual as he hated to dress up!

Following the service, Jan and family will be hosting a celebration of life at the Mystic Shores Community Center from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Reminder to all that it was Tom’s desire that contributions be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation in lieu of flowers. Online donations can be sent to: www.garysinisefoundation.org

Respectfully,

Barbara Rolleg
