I have been informed by the son of Western Air Line Captain Bill Plaskett, his dad “Went West” October 23, 2018 at the age of 91. Captain Plaskett’s son will be providing a tribute to his father to be posted for his Western Airline fellow pilots. No other details are available at this time. When I receive his tribute, it will be posted.

This disease is related to Parkinson’s but the symptoms present themselves differently. She put up a valiant effort and remained strong up to the very end.

I recently received the notification from Joe’s daughter, Cathy, that Joe pass away on September 15th. There will be a memorial service at the Sun Valley Episcopal Church on October 13 2PM.
I will ask Cathy to forward me a copy of Joe’s obituary so I can pass it along to all.

Hi Dick, would you kindly get the word out to our pilot group about Phil Harmon. He lived in Tustin ,Ca. before moving to Denver then to Fla.
He Was in a Marine A4 reserve sqd at .NAS Los Alamitos
Sad to inform any of the former Marine pilots with WAL, that remembered Phil Harmon, UAL Capt. retired ‘
He passed away on July 20, 2018 at his home in Fla.
His wife Marilyn was by his side.
